+Introduced in 1996, this Blancpain Leman ref. 2185F was indefinitely ahead of its time. Featuring the ultra-thin, automatic cal. F185 debuted in 1989, co-created with Frédéric Piguet, equipped with a vertical clutch, column wheel fly-back chronograph and date mechanism. A feat rarely seen in watchmaking. Measuring just 38mm and 11mm thick, the watch is slender unusually for its type. Still rugged with screw down pushers and crown ensuring 100 meters of water resistance. The black lacquered, military dial boast large Arabic numerals with Super Luminova material, drawing inspiration from the 1920-1930s military watches.
